Time to make changes
While my
January Overview is already in your hands, I want to share with you phases of
the moon and signs of the zodiac for this week – with a special emphasis on
Jan. 6 though most of Jan. 9 this week.
For those
who’ve made New Year’s Resolutions but haven’t gotten started working on them,
then you can wait until Wednesday to begin but be underway by 9:30 Saturday,
Eastern Daylight Time.
During this
period the moon will be in the dark phase (until 9:30 p.m. Jan. 9) and the signs going out of the body
past anything that functions. Specifically, Sagittarius/thighs through
Capricorn/knees – almost four days.
It’s not
that those body parts don’t have important “functions,” it’s that they don’t “function”
like the heart, bowels, brain, etc.
This stretch
is perfect for starting a diet or exercise program, stopping smoking or using
other tobacco products, weaning small animals and children, scheduling elective
surgery – anything that calls for a change.
Across my
years of writing about signs and phases – consistently year in and year out for
decades – I have been asked for these dates by people trying to make changes
like those listed above. And I have plenty of testimony from those who have
seen the added benefits of starting when this formula is in force.
Rest of the week
The rest of the week finds Scorpio (the secrets) in force Jan. 4-5. This is one of the four most fertile signs with the moon in the dark phase.
Then come
the “making changes days” with Sagittarius ruling Jan. 6-7 and Capricorn Jan.
8-9. The moon, as we have established, changes to the light phase late
Saturday. Ruling Jan. 10 and 11 is Aquarius (the legs). All these are the so-so
signs that are not especially productive but they are not destructive either.
Then it’s
back the fertile sign Pisces (the feet) on Jan. 12-13 with the moon in the
light phase.
Feel free to
write with your questions.
